The Pearl Heart is not responsible for loss due to fire, theft, or depreciation of any item left for consignment.
Read your contract for policy information. Information in the policy has precedence over any information on this website.
Bring in an itemized list of items to be consigned.
Send questions regarding your contract in writing to the Shop Records Department. Include the contract date and Account Number.
You will be assigned an account number that you need to use each time you consign any items.
Tax-deductible forms are for donated items only.
We do not alter items.
We do not hold items.
We do not store out-of-season clothing.
We can set the selling price or you can set the price.
We pay 60% of the selling price for each item sold.
The 40% retained by the Pearl Heart is a service fee and is not tax deductible.
Consignment Limits
Saturday consignment is by appointment only and allowed only once per month.
Furniture can be consigned at any time before 2 p.m.
Minimum of 5 hanging clothes items and maximum of 12 (adult and/or children).
5 each of purses (bags), pairs of shoes, or accessories (such as belts, scarves, and hats).
20 jewelry items.
20 household items.
Condition of Items
Clothing must be in good condition, clean, pressed, free of tears, free of stains, in season, and on hangers.
Household items must be in good condition and in working order.
For clothing, provide a list of items and a description of the item or number of like items (such as 5 shirts).
For household items, list each item along with its description or name.
Items must be in good enough condition that we can set a minimum price of $6 ($3 for children’s items).

Reclaiming Policies
You must receive approval from The Pearl Heart officers.
Item must be reclaimed before becoming shop property, or period specified by the Shop officers.
We do not notify consignors before items become shop property.
The Pearl Heart does not send notices to the consignor notifying them when the reclaiming period will lapse. It is the consignor’s responsibility to reclaim eligible items before the time period lapses.
Payment Policies
All consignors are payed for the wares on the first of the month. This is not negotiable.
On this day Inventory is reviewed and payment of given to the consigner. If Consigner is paying rent, that is due on the first as well. Failure to pay rent on the first will be excused only once. If rent is not paid within seven business days, all inventory and profit is forfeit to the Pearl Heart.
Because the Pearl Heart always pays on the first, we expect our consignors to do business with us equally.
Each consignor will have an appointed time on the first to meet. If you can't make your time you must reschedule a week before the first or you will be considered in violation of contract.

Clothing that is dirty, worn, or torn
Bathing suits (except childrens' with original store tag attached)
Shoes (except in "like new" condition)

Stuffed animals

Typewriters
Wigs
The Shop will accept consignments of used furniture in good condition. The following guidelines apply:
Furniture must be according to the following themes, antique, midival, rustic or country
No sofas or upholstered items.
Limit three (3) items per consignor per week.
Furniture will be consigned for 30 days.
Furniture consignments must be listed on separate contract.
Consignors are responsible for delivery and moving furniture to the sales floor. Thrift Shop staff will not assist with moving furniture.
THE MANAGER OR ASSISTANT MANAGER HAS AUTHORITY TO REFUSE ANY FURNITURE PRESENTED FOR CONSIGNMENT.
Immoral Items that are not accepted
Items which harm the body in any way
Videos with swearing or anti christian content

Any items affiliated with drugs or alchohol
Consigned items must be clean and in good condition. This condition is at the discretion of The Pearl Heart. Soiled or ripped items will not be accepted.
A complete description of each item and all flaws must be listed for each item (missing buttons, sequins, feathers, etc).

Listing your inventory via the Internet
pearl heart will give the consignor another avenue to sell their wares online.
we will work with you until you are completly satisfied with the presentation of all the products you place with us.
To list your items on Ebay will be a seperate fee.
Items will be held for sale and advertised on our website for a maximum of 6 months.
At the end of the 6 months all unsold items will be given back to consignee via COD.
The Pearl Heart must be informed of any address changes immediately. Every effort will be made to return items to the owner at the end of the contract period. However, if the owner can't be located items will be kept for a period of 60 days - after 60 days all unclaimed items become the property of The Pearl Heart.
As items are sold the consignee may submit another item to replace the sold item (maximum of 20 items at any one time). Consignee may renew contract at the end of the six month period, space permitting.
NO SINGLE ITEM WILL BE RETURNED! If one item is requested for return, all items will be returned via COD and the contract considered null and void.
All pricing is decided by the consignee and agreed upon by The Pearl Heart.
Packing and shipping charges, insurance costs, other handling expenses and risk of loss will be the sole responsibility of the consignee.
Notice to terminate this contract must be sent in writing or e-mail to The Pearl Heart. Upon receiving notice of termination, ALL items will be shipped back to owner.
The Pearl Heart shall not be responsible for any items sent for resale.
All sales will be final and The Pearl Heart will take no responsibility for any item that is sold.
Items will remain the in the hands of The Pearl Heart until all payments have been satisfied.
The The Pearl Heart shall give notice on their website by means of a clear and conspicuous sign of any item that has been sold.
The Pearl Heart shall not sell items without first obtaining the written permission of the consignee (in the form of this signed contract.)
You will be responsible for costs to list and shipping
The pearl heart will list and take digital photographs of your items
The Pearl heart will then package and send your items after they are purchused. Costs will be split 60/ 40 percent of the sale of the item and Pearl heart will take 40 percent.
This is not including listing fees and shipping costs.
The Pearl Heart will use its best efforts to promote the sale of items for consignee.
A statement of account will be given to each consignee upon request.
you create the crafts- provide the consignment inventory and Pearl Heart will sell them for you, helping you to increase your sales, and giving your products more exposure.
